Just wondering, what features and functions would field sales agents be looking for in lead management/sales facilitation software? And what would turn them off using it?

For context, I work in electricity provision so the sales agents would be engaging with customers directly trying to sell electricity products and services.

Have you tried downloading the several free available CRM platforms out there to see which features are already packaged and included in the programs? Some basic helpful features are contact management, note logging, address, meeting scheduling, separation of leads and contacts, etc.

The ability to identify how many times they have contacted a lead already, or maybe some sort of information that suggests an ideal time to reach the prospective business to increase the likelihood of the lead converting.
