Share tools that you use to optimize your outbound prospecting here...

My personal favorite: AutoHotkey (https://autohotkey.com/)

This enable me to write basic scripts to search Google, LinkedIn, CRM data, paste email templates, basically automate anything that would normally be required to type manually. I highlight text and then click my autohotkey buttons on my keyboard and it will perform the appropriate action.

Why does it matter? You will save A TON of time by automating with AutoHotKey. I can research everything I need to know about a prospect in minutes. Plus it's free.

I'll snag the low hanging fruit points...

My personal favorite: Linkedin (https://www.linkedin.com/)

Why does it matter? I find out invaluable information about my customers, leads, companies, competition, etc. from LinkedIn. Specifically, I'll look up a prospect or customer before I call or go visit to learn about their professional work, interests, past roles, company updates, and so forth. If you know how to leverage it, the info on LinkedIn can help you find and close sales.

More low hanging fruit..

My personal favorite: Zoho or Salesforce CRM

Why it matters? My company uses Salesforce.com for it's CRM (if you don't know what Salesforce.com is, then watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP1eowUbSoE) and I use Zoho for my side business.

Why it matters?
Track your emails and files sent to prospects so you know who opened them, who forwarded them, etc. Enables you to focus on prospects in your pipeline who engage with your content and nudge the ones who don't.

I will definitely echo DenverSE and say LinkedIn, but specifically the Sales Navigator feature which costs like 80 bucks a month or something like that.  It's pretty powerful!

Definitely going to check out a couple of these other ones mentioned!

Favorite: Google Analytics

For my small business. It is very powerful and can be used to collect user demographic, geo location, visited pages, etc. to help craft targeted marketing material.
